Ends and Means: The History and Consequences of Anticommunism in the United States
Anti-communism has been such a fixture of our conceptual landscape that many of us take it for granted. This film is lively compilation of clips from anti-communist propaganda films intercut with footage taken from an international conference at Harvard University in 1989. This show is an analytic and often humorous look at America's fear of red. Highlights of the tape include segments from a US propaganda film hosted by Ronald Reagan, Angela Davis on a network talk show discussing what communism stands for and playwright/author Howard Zinn reading from a House of Un-American Activities pamphlet entitled, "100 Things You Should Know About Communism." Produced by DeeDee Halleck and Catherine Saalfield in collaboration with the Institute for Media Analysis (NY, NY)

Already proven McCarthyism was not a "scare" and the files were released finally after being hidden for 50 years- yet gullible morons haven't been educated that the FBI was indeed infiltrated by Communists and it was the worst era in spying for the USA. Film is good for historical purposes anyway

Communism makes people "Equally Miserable"
This rubbish comes from the Communist Capitols of the United States, NEW YORK and CHICAGO! It features feminists, Negroes, Cuban Communists, and last but not least a Communist Jew. These preachers of Communist propaganda use freedom of speech to trash the USA, yet are angered by the broadcasting of American TV signals into their land. What is not mentioned is that Cuba regularly jams radio stations in Florida and along the southern U.S. coastline with interference that violates NARBA (North American Radio Broadcasting Agreement). A Communist loves free speech in the USA, but hates it under Communism; where if somebody speaks against it, they are disciplined, and often killed. They don't believe in a contract either, but they won't tell you that. I'll take FREEDOM, and the U.S. Constitution any day over a toilet like Cuba where the newest car seen is a junk '58 Ford. And all their talk about "equality" in reality actually means "equally miserable".
